This week seemed to pass so slowly, after all the very exciting stayovers and outings and events and whatnots in December 2009 :/ And poof! 2009 ended just like that, so much for a year with all the hoohas and everything. Aka my last SYF Competition with a school band, my last band concert, my last year in Symphonic Band, my ‘A’ Levels year, my last year being a committee member in TQ, …
2009 was definitely life-changing. I mean every year is supposed to be, isn’t it? Or else life will be so boring 
2009 was a year which I learnt to walk closer with Him, much more than before. Yes, tasks and issues were all piling right in front of me, it’s not easy to cope with. Especially in the first few months of the year when I realised that I’d to sacrifice my Saturdays’ time in TQ to stay in school for Sectionals. That was the time when I could feel that my relationship and rapport with my OBEDIENCE members were not there at all. But at the end of the day (or year), He’s in control, everything was fine in the end. Even though I’m not very sure if I’ve done well in my ‘A’s papers’, I could feel Him holding my hand (not literally) and guiding through the journey. I mean sometimes I still wake up from dreams like OH NO I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT HUMAN GEOG HOW TO TAKE EXAM! (yes I didn’t even take Geog in JC) or OH NO ECONS TODAY DIE CANNOT REMEMBER HOW DOES X-M AFFECT INFLATION! It really amazes me how I even managed to pull through this whole thing. It must have been Him! Another thing, it was really quite demoralising to see everybody’s results improving while yours either remain stagnant or went down. 2009 has taught me another very important lesson – not to compare with others excessively and get too competitive. 人比人, 還真的會氣死人!
Other than that, nothing much la, it’s difficult to summarise 2009 in a post yknow 
Ah well. So 2010 started off with a stayover with the TQ peeps. Nothing much, other than the fact that we were back to visit my all-time favourite 金田一 again? OH YES AND EUGENE AND I MANAGED TO GET A CHANCE TO PLAY TWO KICKASS BOARDGAMES – CITADELS and TICKET TO RIDE EUROPE!
After that, 2010 was all about going out with SOMEone who is too lazy to step into a gym, going out with YJ and sometimes Moyi in search for a job, going for meetings for the coming CAC East District event on 6/2/2010 and… yes, going home to play Neopets :O And yes, as much as I wanted to be a Paperback Writer (for those who are still blur and everything, it’s a song by… yeah you know who ), there is no such job available on Recruit Express so I didn’t get it I managed to secure a relief teaching job at Nan Chiau High School for the next 2 weeks so I’m halting my job hunt for the time being YAY! Well it meant that I’d to give up the chance to work at my favourite *pui* Yamaha as a salesman/cashier. Well well well, opportunity costs of relief teaching = next best alternative of relief teaching = working at Yamaha! (Okay bad memories of Econs, better forget them all) But I believe that He has His great plans that we can never fathom (reminded me of what Daily Bread said a few days ago). So just trust!
For now, I’m off!
Yeah kinda fun, much more organised than Blogger to begin with.
Maybe I’ll tell everyone about this new place pretty soon!
